The Team

Technology and Transformation is a service area within Consulting where professionals provide various service offerings on Finance, SAP, Oracle, GBS, and Project/Program Management. The goal is to help clients achieve outstanding value from their enterprise technology investments with a holistic and strategic approach to technology transformation.

 

The Technology and Transformation team is looking for talent to join the practice, which provides guidance to CFO’s office and finance teams to design strategies, implement and deliver solutions for finance processes, operation, and supporting technology to navigate through the complexities of finance function. The team focuses on providing insights to drive profitability and growth resulting in value creation.

Service offerings by the practice are as follows-

·      Finance Strategy and Operations - Focuses on engaging with every aspect of the finance organization and the business itself. It covers integrated capabilities - from vision and strategy to organization and talent, and from business processes to supporting technology. We provide following diverse offerings:

o Maturity assessment of as-is processes, systems, organization structures

o Process-led ERP transformations - Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Acquire to Retire, Record to Report

o Service-delivery and operating model design, and business process outsourcing advice

o Assisting organizations embrace disruptive digital changes in finance functions using digital technologies such as OCR, robotics, conversational and generative AI

o Finance vision lab – defining positioning of finance function within the organization and understand vision for future finance function from stakeholders

o Processing mining and intelligent automation

 

·      Enterprise Performance Management – The offering covers gamut of solutions which enable a holistic picture and analysis for corporate overview as it covers each aspect for effective control and review. Focus is on the complete range of finance function with linked interactions. Our offerings include:

o Budgeting, forecasting, and business planning – development of driver-based models and support an integrated forecast and budget process

o Management reporting and analysis – development of financial and management reporting solutions

o Performance dashboards – presentation of KPIs and metrics that are visually oriented

o Financial consolidation – streamlining processes related to consolidating financial results (automation of intercompany eliminations, currency translation, minority interest, etc.)

o Profitability and cost analytics – solutions to provide insight into actual costs of production and conduct analysis in support of sales opportunities, contract review, etc.

 

·      Advisory for Project Management – Focus is to deliver excellence by supporting projects and programs to fulfill business requirements and hygiene, resulting in improved program reporting, performance against milestones and overall portfolio management. Our team provides offerings such as:

o End-to-end portfolio, program, and project management

o Advisory for agile transformation

o Enterprise PMO set-up and run - define governance, operating model, and processes to set up ePMO

o Advisory for transition, migration, and change management

o Transformation Management as a Service (TMaaS)

 

·      Global Business Services – Focus on helping clients with their GBS journey and end-to-end implementation enabling smooth transition to the new model. Our support covers:

o GBS set-up - from initial feasibility assessment, location assessment to operating model design and transition to the new delivery organization

o GBS performance management and maturity assessment

o Third-party outsourcing - structured vendor selection, negotiation & contracting, VMO program

o Specialized resourcing and scalability support

o GBS managed services (operate)

o Process transformations - simplification, elimination, re-engineering, and automating processes to enable efficient service delivery

 

·      Treasury – Focus on enabling CFOs and treasury leaders with effective management of cash, liquidity, risk, bank relationships, and enterprise value. We provide:

o Treasury policy and process transformations

o Operating model transformation

o Implementation of treasury systems

o Post-merger integration (PMI) of treasury function

o Treasury operate services - performing BAU treasury activities for the client

o Supply chain finance solutions - offering strategic solutions to optimize cash flow, reduce costs, and improve supplier relationships

 

·      Finance Operate – Focus on managing client’s day-to-day finance operations across all finance domains, enabling them to concentrate on strategic initiatives and growth, while driving automation and innovation through our ecosystem of assets and alliances. We leverage enablers such as centralization, standardization, technology, and simplification to provide:

o Finance as a service - value-driven, ongoing management of finance operations and finance CoEs

o Strategic finance augmentation – strategic finance resources to address fluctuations in demand and specific skill set gaps

o Build-Operate-Transform-Transfer services

o Finance technology AMS - break-fix maintenance, monitoring, and optimization services for organization’s finance technology infrastructure

 

Job Overview

The primary role of a Consultant will be to make immediate and direct contribution to enhance our clients’ competitive position and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable. Assist finance organizations in solving complex challenges and adding greater value to the business.

To achieve this, you will be expected to perform the following activities:

 

·      Project Delivery –

o   Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities

o   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement recommended solutions and strategies

o   Ensure project timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met in accordance with client expectations

o   Conduct thorough analyses of client requirements, industry trends, and market dynamics

o   Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and delivery of high-quality solutions

·      Assist in Business Development –

o   Assist in preparation of proposals and responses to RFPs by collaborating across competencies/alliances/service lines

·      Stakeholder Management –

o   Identify and engage with key stakeholders both within the client organization and internally

o   Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and expectations

·      Collaboration and Team Culture-

o   Thrive in a collaborative team environment, actively participating in team discussions, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives

o   Collaborate with team members to leverage diverse skill sets and perspectives, contributing to well-rounded and innovative solutions

o   Engage in cross-functional teamwork to ensure seamless integration of recommendations and strategies

 

 Skills Required

·      Qualifications:

o   Candidates CA Qualified- 1st Attempt preferred (strong articleship)/MBA from a premium institute/CPA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CFA or equivalent

o   Excellent academic credentials for both undergraduate and graduate coursework

·      Experience

o   2-4 years of relevant experience across consulting and/or industry roles, post qualification would be preferred

·      Skills and Competencies

o   Ability to challenge the status quo, deliver compelling and well-structured arguments for change and transformation

o   Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

o   Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently

o   Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products such as PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Word etc.

o   Working knowledge of any technologies in digital finance would be an added advantage

o   Willingness to travel - This role required travel as per project requirements

o   Ability to challenge the status quo, deliver compelling and well-structured arguments for change and transformation
