Your work profile
Role Overview:
We are looking for a versatile and highly motivated Procurement professional to support and scale global procurement operations within our GCC. This role requires experience in handling end-to-end sourcing activities, managing multiple procurement categories such as IT, Facilities, Real Estate, etc., and collaborating effectively with Design, Operate, Legal and Finance teams. The candidate should be adept at running RFPs, identifying, onboarding new vendors, and releasing POs even in non-ERP environments. A strong ability to juggle cross-functional priorities and work in a fast-paced, global setting is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Execution & Sourcing:
Lead and manage sourcing events including RFP/RFQ/RFI across multiple categories simultaneously (e.g., IT, Facilities, Real Estate)
Release Purchase Orders outside ERP environments when required, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors while driving vendor consolidation and cost optimization initiatives.
Collaborate closely with category managers and business stakeholders for timely sourcing and procurement execution.
Vendor Management:
Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors while proactively scouting for new ones in niche or evolving spend areas.
Perform periodic vendor evaluations and lead vendor rationalization programs.
Support vendor due diligence and contracting processes in partnership with Legal and Finance teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the Legal team on contract creation, negotiation, and compliance.
Liaise with the Finance and Generic Accounting teams to ensure budgeting, PO tracking and payment reconciliation.
Partner with internal audit, compliance, and risk teams to ensure all procurement processes adhere to organizational policies.
Process & Governance:
Support procurement process optimization and contribute to the design of SOPs and workflows.
Ensure timely documentation and approvals of all sourcing and procurement decisions.
Help define SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics for procurement operations in the GCC.
Required Skills & Experience:
5–10 years of relevant procurement experience in a global or regional sourcing setup, preferably within a GCC environment.
Proven track record of managing multiple categories – especially IT, Facilities, Real Estate and or administrative services.
Experience running RFPs independently and releasing POs outside ERP tools.
Strong understanding of vendor identification, onboarding, and management processes.
Prior experience collaborating with Legal and Finance teams on contracting, compliance, and approvals.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proficiency in procurement tools/suites is a plus (SAP, Ariba, Coupa, etc.)
Exposure to procurement transformation or process setup in new GCCs.
Familiarity with automation, e-sourcing tools, and procurement analytics.
Experience working in a multi-country procurement environment with diverse supplier bases.
