We are seeking highly skilled Databricks Data Engineers to join our data modernization team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions on the Databricks platform. Your experience in data engineering, along with a deep understanding of Databricks, will be instrumental in building solutions to drive data-driven decision-making across a variety of customers.

Job Description:

The data engineering manager is responsible for designing and implementing data engineering frameworks, strategies, and solutions to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across the organization. They implement data engineering processes, standards and procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity.

Must Have Skills

Strong data engineering expertise, expertise with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, ETL knowledge, Strong SQL, proficiency in Pyspark and analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

·      Work on end-to-end delivery of Single Source of Truth (SSOT) data products across one or more domains.

·      Define and govern SSOT design standards using the medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).

·      Lead solution design on Databricks, ADF and Pyspark, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment to enterprise architecture.

·      Oversee sizing, planning, and delivery of SSOTs, managing dependencies, risks, and timelines.

·      Translate business outcomes into SSOT roadmaps and delivery priorities in partnership with Data & Product Owners.

·      Ensure consistent implementation of data modeling, transformation logic, and data quality frameworks.

·      Provide technical and delivery oversight across teams, review designs, code, and data models.

·      Mentor and develop team member and drive capability building & standardization.

·      Lead communication with stakeholders across business, governance, and analytics teams.

·      Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·      Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

·      Detail-oriented and passionate about data accuracy and integrity.

Requirements

·      Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Management, or a related field.

·      10-12 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data platform delivery roles.

·      Strong hands-on and architectural experience with Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF).

·      Deep understanding of data engineering principles and enterprise data product delivery.

·      Proven experience designing and governing solutions using the medallion architecture.

·      Hands on experience with Snowflake and IICS is good-to-have

·      Strong data modeling expertise and ability to review and guide complex transformation logic.

·      Experience defining and enforcing CI/CD standards for data platforms (Git-based workflows, automated deployments).

·      Experience establishing and overseeing data quality frameworks and reconciliation processes.

·      Strong stakeholder management skills, including senior business and technology leaders.

·      Experience leading delivery teams in a consulting or large-scale enterprise environment. Strong analytical skills

·      Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities.

·      Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

·      Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
