QA Test Analyst - Banking Modernization (EPPM, CBP & CIM)

We are looking for an experienced QA Test Analyst to support testing activities across EPPM, CBP, and CIM applications within a banking transformation program. The role involves executing test scenarios, supporting UAT cycles, identifying defects, tracking testing progress, and ensuring quality deliverables against defined entry and exit criteria.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute functional, integration, system, and UAT test cases across EPPM, CBP, and CIM applications.
• Develop, review, and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test documentation.
• Identify, log, track, and support resolution of defects in collaboration with development teams.
• Participate in peer reviews of test artifacts and ensure adherence to testing standards.
• Monitor testing progress and report status against entry/exit criteria and project milestones.
• Support test data preparation, execution reporting, and defect triage activities.
• Collaborate with business users, SMEs, and project stakeholders during UAT cycles.
• Ensure application quality, requirement traceability, and test coverage.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience in Functional Testing, SIT, UAT, and Defect Management.
• Strong knowledge of Test Case Design, Test Execution, and Test Reporting.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or Core Banking environments.

Good to Have

• Exposure to Mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, TSO/ISPF).
• Experience testing legacy-to-modernization or migration programs.
• Knowledge of batch processing, data validation, and integration testing.
• Agile/Scrum project experience.
