The Team 

The Deloitte Workday team provides the full range of services for clients from the initial planning stages, through full system implementation to on-going support. The Deloitte Workday team are not purely system implementors as the service goes beyond to ensure our clients get the most benefit from their Workday solution. For the Workday team, this means not just fixing issues but providing advisory and guidance on ways to optimize and enhance the Workday experience. 

Work you'll do 

As a Workday Analyst on the Core HCM workstream during implementation, you will support configuration of foundational HR data structures as part of a new Workday deployment. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Configuration Support 

• Assist in configuring supervisory organizations, staffing models, and business processes. 
• Support build of location, job profile, and position management setups. 

2. Requirements Gathering 

• Participate in design workshops to capture Core HCM requirements. 
• Document configuration decisions in design workbooks. 

3. Testing 

• Execute unit and system testing of Core HCM configurations. 
• Support UAT scenarios for HR processes. 

4. Data & Cutover Support 

• Assist in validating converted HR data against source systems. 
• Support mock and final cutover activities. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 
• Exposure to programming skills in Java or C++ and acquainted with the concept of object-oriented programming, knowledge of SQL and tools for handling databases 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Eagerness to learn and ability to work collaboratively in a team 
• Should be willing to work in shifts 
• Required to work from office (application for offshore development center (ODC) projects) 
• Location – Pan India 

Desired Skills 

• Basic understanding of web services (SOAP and RESTful webservices) and APIs 
• Understanding of XML and JSON data format 
• Interest in system administration and technical troubleshooting 
• Good command in documentation and presentation 
• Exposure to Workday Core HCM configuration concepts 
• Understanding of organizational and staffing structures
