Your contributions will involve nurturing new and existing relationships, supporting presales life cycles, and playing a pivotal role in driving the success of Deloitte business growth for the specific client.

Job Title: Senior Accountant (Statutory Reporting) - GA
The Team: The local statutory reporting team is mainly responsible for the preparation of the local statutory financial statements of the Halliburton subsidiaries in the Eastern Hemisphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Individual Contributor managing the external audit team and country stakeholders with minimum support.
• Prepare local GAAP financial statements, management reports and other related documents required for local statutory reporting.
• Perform review and validation of US GAAP balances.
• Identify, calculate, and post all necessary GAAP or timing adjustments to obtain the local statutory trial balance.
• Independently lead and support audits and statutory compliances of the countries allocated.
• Coordinate the input from all relevant information sources and manage the external audit of the statutory financial statements.
• Focus on automation and standardisation when preparing the financial statements.

Handle month end close activities where required.

Provide timely and comprehensive answers and information to queries raised whether internally or externally.
• Perform/Review Account Reconciliations
Basic Qualifications: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)/ CPA/ CA – Inter qualified
Total Years of Experience: 2+ Years post qualification; 5+ years in case of CA (Inter)
Desired/Preferred Expertise:

Experience in preparation and/or audit of statutory financial statements is a plus.

Strong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP or any other local GAAP.

Hands on experience in MS Excel and Word.

Knowledge of SAP ERP is an added advantage.

Good Verbal and Written communication skills.

French Language requirement:

Key responsibilities:
• Communicating, supporting and liaising with the Country team/ auditors in French/ German language and translating accounting documents appropriately for queries raised.
• Draft Financial Statements, notes to accounts and other statutory reports in French/ German language.
