Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Manager - DevOps Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud services. As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing our deployment processes, enhancing our system reliability, and ensuring the seamless operation of our development and production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of code changes.
- Monitor and optimize build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Develop and manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Automate provisioning and configuration of servers, databases, and other infrastructure components.
- Ensure infrastructure is scalable, resilient, and secure.
- Cloud Services Management:
- Architect and maintain cloud-based solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization to reduce costs and enhance performance.
- Implement security best practices for cloud environments.
- Monitoring and Incident Management:
- Set up and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of critical systems and applications.
- Automation and Scripting:
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes to reduce manual intervention and minimize errors.
- Implement self-healing mechanisms for infrastructure and applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in DevOps engineering.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Proficiency in IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.
- Knowledge of database management and optimization.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with network configuration and management.
