Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Manager - DevOps Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud services. As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing our deployment processes, enhancing our system reliability, and ensuring the seamless operation of our development and production environments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):

 

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of code changes.
  • Monitor and optimize build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reliability.

 

  1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  • Develop and manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration of servers, databases, and other infrastructure components.
  • Ensure infrastructure is scalable, resilient, and secure.

 

  1. Cloud Services Management:
  • Architect and maintain cloud-based solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization to reduce costs and enhance performance.
  • Implement security best practices for cloud environments.

 

  1. Monitoring and Incident Management:

 

  • Set up and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of critical systems and applications.

 

  1. Automation and Scripting:

 

  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and processes to reduce manual intervention and minimize errors.
  • Implement self-healing mechanisms for infrastructure and applications.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in DevOps engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Proficiency in IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.
  • Knowledge of database management and optimization.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience with network configuration and management.
