Your work profile

We are looking for an experienced OpenText Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong expertise in OpenText Content Server (OTCS), xECM APIs, and integration technologies. The ideal candidate should have a development-oriented background with hands-on experience in APIs, AnswerModules, and enterprise integrations, along with minimal reliance on infrastructure-level activities.

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain solutions using OpenText Content Server (OTCS/OTCM) and xECM for SAP Solutions
  • Work extensively on xECM APIs, REST APIs, and AnswerModules (xECM for Everything)
  • Build and integrate solutions using REST APIs and web services
  • Develop and support custom AnswerModules and API-based integrations
  • Work with integration tools and ecosystems like:
  • Kafka
  • Talend / Control-M jobs
  • webMethods
  • RPA tools
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to design scalable solutions
  • Troubleshoot application-level issues and provide SME-level guidance
  • Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and performance optimization

 

Key skills required: 

  • Education Any Bachelor’s/Master’s
  • OpenText Stack
  • OpenText Content Server (OTCS / OTCM) – strong hands-on development
  • OpenText Archive Center (OTAC)
  • xECM for SAP Solutions (configuration + API-level integration)
  • OTDS (LDAP, Entra ID, SAML configurations)
  • Strong working experience with:
  • AnswerModules
  • xECM APIs / REST
  • GCI Power Tools, VILT, IRIS, Syntergy
  • REST APIs and SOAP web services
  • Messaging & integration:
  • Kafka
  • webMethods
  • Batch & ETL:
  • Talend
  • Control-M
  • Java (core + integration)
  • SQL (Oracle / MS SQL)
  • API development and consumption
  • Unix / Linux environments
  • Shell scripting (basic to intermediate)
  • CI/CD exposure (preferred)
