Job Title: Team Lead | PMO - Finance / IT PM | Bengaluru | Finance Transformation
The Team lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient closing of books. The role involves coordinating with various teams, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Tax, to ensure the timely preparation and consolidation of financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Ensure accurate preparation of balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports.
Month-End & Year-End Closures:
- Manage the closing process and ensure adherence to deadlines.
Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls (e.g., SOX, IFRS, GAAP).
Reconciliation Management:
- Monitor and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts, including intercompany transactions.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the R2R team to enhance process efficiency.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate and optimize processes.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with auditors, finance, and business partners for accurate financial reporting.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP)
- Expertise in financial reporting and consolidation
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent analytical and leadership skills
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks like SOX
