Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience
- Business analysis skills, defining and understanding requirements
- Knowledge of one or more of the following domains (including market data vendors):
- Party/Client /Trade/Settlements/Payments/Instrument and pricing/Market and/or Credit Risk
- Knowledge and experience in Data Quality & Governance
- Preferred experience of big data programs
- Enthusiastic and energetic analytical thinker and problem solver with good communication
- Attention to detail
- Good knowledge of SDLC and formal Agile processes, a bias towards TDD and a willingness to test products as part of the delivery cycle
- Good knowledge and experience in writing SQL queries
- Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-program environment across a range of
stakeholders
- Proven track record of managing small delivery-focused data teams
Key Responsibilities
- Bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions, the BA’s will need to analyze business requirements, partner with architects / IT delivery teams / data asset / platform strategy teams to propose strategic solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- They will be responsible for
- requirements gathering /documentation of solution design /drafting and documenting test scenarios /performing a variety of change and implementation management activities
- They will need to deliver solutions that meets / improve business requirement / processes
- May require to work across multiple projects (use cases) simultaneously
- May be required to support change management activities spanning from early change planning
and audience analysis; through to designing and delivering change interventions (e.g. ingestions,
communications, training, support, organization alignment); tracking and taking actions on change readiness, adoption, and feedback
- They are also ultimately responsible for Implementation Management, including planning, controlling and reporting on implementation of the change ‘product’, focusing on accelerating
benefits and minimizing risk during deployment. Implementation activities will also include
managing implementation readiness and managing the early stages of implementation (e.g. proof of concept)
