We work in conjuncture with various institutions solving key business problems across a broad-spectrum roles and functions, all set against the backdrop of constant industry change.

 

Your work profile

 

Location: Bhubaneshwar (Project Location will be Angul)

 

Role: Senior Consultant–  Commissioning Lead

 

Develop detailed commissioning plans and schedules for all plant systems including boiler, turbine, generator, and balance of plant (BOP) packages

• Review readiness of systems prior to commissioning in terms of erection completion, documentation, manpower, tools, and safety clearances

• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and OEM teams for smooth transition from construction to commissioning phase

• Plan and monitor pre-commissioning and commissioning activities such as flushing, hydro testing, light-up, and trial runs

• Ensure availability of consumables, utilities, and commissioning spares required for startup activities

• Track contractor and vendor performance to meet commissioning milestones and startup targets

• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during commissioning and initial operation

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and quality procedures during all commissioning activities

• Prepare and monitor system-wise commissioning checklists and documentation including SOPs and test reports

• Coordinate for synchronization, load testing, and performance guarantee (PG) tests of the unit

• Develop look-ahead plans and daily/weekly progress reports for commissioning activities

• Assist in preparation and monitoring of commissioning budgets and cost control measures

• Liaise with operations team for smooth handover of commissioned systems and ensure proper training

• Drive strategies to optimize commissioning timelines and achieve early project completion

 

 

Desirable Skills

 

  • 10+ years of experience in commissioning in thermal power plant
  • Candidate should have good presentation skills, good command on English
  • Early/immediate joiners

 

 

Education Details:

B.E./BTECH from top engineering colleges. Post Graduation is an added advantage
