As a Consultant/Senior Consultant in our Technology & Transformation Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse existing Informatica PowerCenter mappings, workflows, sessions, and reusable components.
  • Design, develop, and migrate ETL jobs from PowerCenter to Informatica IDMC (Cloud Data Integration).
  • Convert and optimize PowerCenter mappings into IDMC mappings, taskflows, and reusable assets.
  • Develop and modify SQL scripts, Stored Procedures, and database objects as part of migration activities.
  • Create and maintain Unix Shell Scripts for job orchestration, file handling, and automation.
  • Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy after migration.
  • Troubleshoot ETL failures, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes.
  • Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Prepare technical design documents, migration documents, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
  • Support deployment across Development, QA/UAT, and Production environments.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.

 

Mandatory Skills

  • 6–10 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter development.
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) – Cloud Data Integration (CDI).
  • Experience in ETL migration projects, preferably PowerCenter to IDMC.
  • Strong SQL programming skills.
  • Experience in writing and optimizing Stored Procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.
  • Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of ETL jobs.
  • Knowledge of batch scheduling and workflow orchestration.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with databases such as Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum projects.
  • Exposure to Python or scripting for automation.
  • Experience with REST APIs and cloud integrations.

  • 4–6+ years of hands-on IDMC experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Informatica IDMC or MDM certifications

Experience and Qualification:

 

  • B.E./ B.Tech. or M.C.A. in Computer Science from a reputed University
