Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Integration:
  • Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable integration solutions between various software applications, including Electronic Health Records (EHRs), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Pharmacy Management Systems, and other relevant systems.
  • Utilize integration technologies such as APIs (REST, SOAP), message queues and data exchange standards to facilitate seamless data flow between systems.
  • Develop and maintain integration interfaces, ensuring data accuracy, security, and timely exchange.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring the smooth and uninterrupted operation of integrated systems.
  • ABDM Integration:
  • Lead the integration of existing systems and applications with the ABDM platform, ensuring compliance with ABDM standards and specifications.
  • Develop and implement data mapping and transformation rules to ensure data consistency and accuracy within the ABDM ecosystem.
  • Work closely with ABDM stakeholders and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.
  • Healthcare IT Standards:
  • Ensure adherence to relevant healthcare IT standards, including HL7, FHIR, and other relevant standards, in all integration projects.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in healthcare interoperability standards and technologies.
  • Project Management & Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment.
  • Document all integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

Qualifications:

  • BE/ BTech/BCA/ MCA/ MTech/MBA or equivalent qualification
  • 5 + years of experience in application integration, with a strong focus on healthcare IT systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of integration technologies, including APIs (REST, SOAP), message queues, and data exchange standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Experience with healthcare IT standards and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Apache Camel).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) framework.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, HL7).
