Key Responsibilities:

  • Needs Assessment & Planning:
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps, skills deficiencies, and capacity building requirements for target audiences (government officials, healthcare providers, community health workers, etc.).
  • Develop comprehensive capacity building plans, including learning objectives, training methodologies, and evaluation strategies.
  • Training Design & Delivery:
  • Design and develop engaging and effective training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online learning modules.
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions, workshops, and webinars using a variety of instructional methods (e.g., classroom training, online learning, mentoring, coaching).
  • Facilitate interactive learning experiences, including group discussions, case studies, and simulations.
  • Software Application Implementation Support:
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to end-users on the effective use of software applications related to digital health and e-government projects.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing support to ensure successful software adoption.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, healthcare providers, community leaders, and project partners.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that capacity building activities are aligned with project goals and objectives.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation:
  • Track and monitor the progress of capacity building initiatives, including participant attendance, knowledge retention, and application of skills.
  • Conduct regular evaluations to assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing the outcomes of capacity building activities.
  • Knowledge Management & Dissemination:
  • Document best practices and lessons learned from capacity building initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge repository of training materials and resources.
  • Disseminate knowledge and best practices through workshops, publications, and other channels.

Qualifications:

  • BE/ BTech or equivalent qualification
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and delivering capacity building programs, preferably in the context of digital health, e-government, or development projects.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training materials using a variety of formats (e.g., presentations, manuals, online courses).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working in developing countries or with government agencies is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, presentation software, learning management systems).

  • Experience with specific digital health or e-government software applications.
  • Certifications in adult education or instructional design.
  • Experience in conducting needs assessments and developing capacity building plans.
  • Knowledge of relevant government policies and regulations.
