Job Title: Consultant | Capacity Building Functional BA | Chennai | Operations, Industry & Domain Solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Needs Assessment & Planning:
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps, skills deficiencies, and capacity building requirements for target audiences (government officials, healthcare providers, community health workers, etc.).
- Develop comprehensive capacity building plans, including learning objectives, training methodologies, and evaluation strategies.
- Training Design & Delivery:
- Design and develop engaging and effective training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online learning modules.
- Deliver high-quality training sessions, workshops, and webinars using a variety of instructional methods (e.g., classroom training, online learning, mentoring, coaching).
- Facilitate interactive learning experiences, including group discussions, case studies, and simulations.
- Software Application Implementation Support:
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to end-users on the effective use of software applications related to digital health and e-government projects.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing support to ensure successful software adoption.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, healthcare providers, community leaders, and project partners.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that capacity building activities are aligned with project goals and objectives.
- Monitoring & Evaluation:
- Track and monitor the progress of capacity building initiatives, including participant attendance, knowledge retention, and application of skills.
- Conduct regular evaluations to assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing the outcomes of capacity building activities.
- Knowledge Management & Dissemination:
- Document best practices and lessons learned from capacity building initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge repository of training materials and resources.
- Disseminate knowledge and best practices through workshops, publications, and other channels.
Qualifications:
- BE/ BTech or equivalent qualification
- 3+ years of experience in designing and delivering capacity building programs, preferably in the context of digital health, e-government, or development projects.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Experience in developing and delivering training materials using a variety of formats (e.g., presentations, manuals, online courses).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working in developing countries or with government agencies is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, presentation software, learning management systems).
