Your work profile

• An SAP Variant Configuration (VC) professional designs, models, and maintains complex configurable products within the SAP environment.
• They bridge sales, engineering, and manufacturing by setting up configuration rules, pricing conditions, and production constraints so that customized products are efficiently processed from order to delivery.

Key skills required; -

• Business Requirement Analysis: Collaborates with sales, engineering, and manufacturing to understand product structures and rules, turning customer demands into manageable SAP logic.
• BOM & Routing Creation: Builds and maintains master data structures that automatically adapt based on the selected product configuration.
• Experience: Typically requires 2 to 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP VC.
• Background: A bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related engineering field is heavily preferred.
• Soft Skills: Requires strong analytical and communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders
