Your work profile
1️⃣ S/4HANA CDS Development
- Design and develop Basic, Composite, and Consumption CDS views
- Perform gap analysis between standard and custom CDS views
- Implement analytical annotations (@Analytics.query, currency/unit handling)
- Develop calculated fields and exception aggregations
- Optimize CDS views for performance
- Expose CDS views via OData for SAC consumption (if required)
- Handle DCL (Data Control Language) for authorization
2️⃣ SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Development
- Design and develop SAC models (Live & Import connections)
- Create executive and operational dashboards
- Develop calculated & restricted measures
- Implement currency conversion logic in SAC (if required)
- Configure data access control and role-based security
- Optimize dashboards for performance and usability
- Implement linked analysis and drill-down functionality
3️⃣ Requirement Gathering & Design
- Conduct business workshops for KPI identification
- Prepare KPI register and functional specifications
- Translate business requirements into technical designs
- Prepare wireframes and conduct design walkthroughs
- Perform data reconciliation with S/4 reports
4️⃣ Testing & Deployment
- Perform Unit Testing and support SIT/UAT
- Resolve data reconciliation issues
- Support go-live and hypercare
- Prepare technical and user documentation
5️⃣ Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Interact with Finance / Sales / Supply Chain stakeholders
- Provide effort estimation for enhancements
- Mentor junior consultants
- Contribute to proposal discussions (optional but preferred)
Key skills required
🔹 Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in S/4HANA CDS view development
- 6–10 years (with 2+ years in SAC and strong S/4HANA CDS exposure)
- Experience with ACDOCA and core finance tables
- Expertise in SAC story development (Optimized Story Experience)
- Good understanding of:
- Currency & unit conversion
- Exception aggregation
- Live vs Import connection
- SAC security concepts
- Knowledge of ABAP CDS annotations
- Experience with Embedded Analytics is a plus
🔷 Functional Knowledge
- Strong understanding of at least one module:
- Finance (RTR, AP, AR, CO-PA)
- Sales & Distribution
- MM / Procurement
- Knowledge of financial reporting structures preferred
🔷 Soft Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to independently handle client workshops
- Problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced delivery environment
🔷 Nice to Have
- Experience in BW/4HANA or SAP Datasphere
- Exposure to Public Cloud S/4 environment
- Experience in Agile delivery model
- SAP certification in SAC or S/4HANA
