Your work profile

We are looking for a C++ Developer with strong hands-on experience in server-side C++ development, preferably in a Linux environment. The ideal candidate should have expertise in C++ STL, Data Structures, Multithreading, Design Patterns, Software Design, Low-Latency/High-Throughput Messaging, and performance-oriented development. Experience in FIX API, exchange/venue connectivity, and FX electronic trading will be highly preferred.

Key skills required:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using C++ across development and production environments.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of C++ Standard Template Library (STL), Data Structures, and Multithreading concepts.
• Apply design patterns and software design principles to build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions.
• Develop and optimize applications for low-latency and high-throughput environments.
• Work with low-latency/high-throughput messaging platforms and optimize communication and processing performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance, concurrency, and application-level issues.
• Work with relational and time-series databases, with SQL/Q experience being advantageous.
• Develop scripts and automation using Bash, Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages.
• Work on FIX API/Protocol integrations for exchange and venue connectivity, where applicable.
• Collaborate with application developers, architects, DevOps, and business teams to deliver robust and high-performance solutions.
• Contribute to system design, performance optimization, code reviews, and continuous improvement of software components.

Experience:

• 6–8 years of overall software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in C++ server-side development.
• Strong experience with C++ STL, Data Structures, Multithreading, and Design Patterns.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
• Proven experience with low-latency / high-throughput systems or messaging platforms.
• Experience with performance optimization and concurrent programming.
• Exposure to relational and time-series databases.
• Experience with FIX API/Protocol, exchange/venue connectivity, or FX electronic trading will be preferred.
