The Team 

Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

·        Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, and cloud components using .NET, C#, Azure Functions, and microservices architecture.

·        Translate architectural guidance from GT&I Digital Architecture and DBS Business architect into concrete technical designs and ensure implementation aligns with GDRA principles.

·        Ensure backend solution coherence across service interactions, data flows, integrations, cloud components, performance expectations, and security constraints.

·        Collaborate with Product Management, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to convert business needs into scalable backend software solutions.

·        Implement secure-by-design engineering practices and ensure compliance with ISO27001, including data protection, access control, and secure coding.

·        Review code, architectural designs, and cloud setups to ensure high quality, maintainability, and adherence to engineering standards.

·        Promote modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and cloud-native development.

·        Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in distributed and cloud-based backend systems.

·        Support integration with frontend, mobile, and cloud platforms to ensure seamless end-to-end digital experiences.

·        Stay updated on backend technologies, Azure cloud capabilities, and industry trends, and introduce relevant innovations into the development process.

·        Contribute to technology evaluations and assess architectural impacts, scalability, and long-term sustainability of solution choices.

·        Design and optimize backend services that power mobile applications, ensuring seamless integration with app frontends and cloud services   

Required Minimum Qualifications

The minimum education, certifications, licenses, technical skills, knowledge, and experiences necessary for success in this position.

·        8+ years of professional experience in backend development.

·        Advanced proficiency in .NET, C#, Azure Functions, and microservice, containerization , Devops, CI-CD

·        Experience with REST API development; GraphQL experience is a strong advantage.

·        Experience integrating backend with mobile app frameworks (e.g., Xamarin, Flutter, React Native).

·        Knowledge of Azure API Management and Azure DevOps pipelines

·        Solid understanding of secure software development and ISO27001 practices.

·        Experience with distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures.

·        Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

·        Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams.

·        Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical topics
