Your work profile

As a People Manager (Associate Director Level) in our Organizational Change Management Operate team, you will oversee service delivery, team leadership, and client engagement. You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality CM deliverables, managing escalations, developing the team, and contributing to the growth of the CM practice.

 

Your Prime Responsibilities:

 

Organizational Change Management Leadership

  • Lead Organizational Change Management initiatives across client projects, designing and implementing strategies to drive adoption and project success.
  • Review and ensure high-quality delivery of CM outputs such as stakeholder engagement plans, communication materials, training content, and adoption reports.
  • Embed change enablement into broader business transformation programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and measurable outcomes.

 

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Develop and drive plans to achieve project goals, operational KPIs, and client expectations.
  • Track project milestones, proactively manage risks, and ensure timelines are met.
  • Apply risk mitigation strategies to address project issues early.
  • Ensure alignment of delivery strategy with overall business objectives and client success outcomes.

 

Team Leadership and Development

  • Manage a team of practitioners in Coimbatore, including team engagement and high utilization.
  • Ensure delivery excellence and quality assurance
  • Set clear expectations, conduct regular feedback discussions, and support career growth.
  • Monitor team workload and capacity, ensuring resource balance and team engagement.
  • Identify and nurture high-potential talent for succession planning and leadership pipeline.

 

Executive Stakeholder and Client Management

  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and internal leadership teams.
  • Manage client escalations, provide timely resolutions, and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Lead client update meetings to report on progress, risks, and next steps.
  • Drive account growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding service offerings, and influencing future workstreams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on change management strategy and execution.

 

Strategic Project and Operations Management

  • Manage end-to-end service delivery, ensuring adherence to SLAs, quality standards, and operational processes.
  • Define team goals and align them with project and organizational objectives.
  • Lead performance tracking and reporting using dashboards and operational metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, client contractual requirements, and regulatory expectations.
  • Drive productivity improvement through operational excellence and digital enablement.

 

Business Development

  • Identify new opportunities to expand CM services for existing clients.
  • Support proposal development, participate in RFP responses, and present CM value offerings where needed.
  • Contribute to Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies and collaborate with sales teams to grow pipeline.

 

Advanced Data Analysis and Insights

  • Use data and project metrics to evaluate the impact of CM initiatives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  • Use BI tools and project analytics to inform CM strategy and effectiveness.

 

Communication and Collaboration

  • Communicate clearly and effectively across stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ensure proactive communication within the team and with clients to align expectations, milestones, and outcomes.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and retrospectives to improve team performance and delivery outcomes.

 

Key skills required

  • Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in arts, Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • 14+ years of experience in Learning, Organizational Change Management, or Communications, with at least 5+ years in formal people leadership roles.
  • Preferred experience in managing change initiatives, specifically employee rebadging and ERP/digital transformation programs.
  • Expertise in leading and implementing change management strategies at a strategic level.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans for change management initiatives.
  • Experience managing mid-to-large sized teams in professional services, consulting, or scaled delivery (Operate) environments.
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to manage budgets, optimize resource deployment, and track profitability against delivery metrics. 
  • Strong business acumen is essential, including understanding of revenue models, cost structures, and financial levers in consulting or delivery engagements.
  • Strong leadership skills to build, mentor, and manage high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and engage executive stakeholders effectively.
  • Advanced skills in planning, executing, and monitoring complex projects.
  • Proven track record in managing client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Extensive experience overseeing team performance, development, and engagement initiatives.
  • Experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Experience in leading in crafting responses to RFPs and proposals.
  • Ability to analyze data to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have demonstrated experience beyond communication alone; candidates with only a communications background will not be a fit unless they have led strategic change programs, delivery teams, and stakeholder management at scale.

 

 

Good to Have:

  • Certifications in Change Management (e.g., Prosci – ADKAR Model), Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM), or Data Analytics (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Understanding of outsourcing processes, delivery models, and managed best practices. 
  • Skills in advanced statistical analysis, data interpretation, and business storytelling using dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
  • Experience using survey platforms like Qualtrics, MS Forms, or SurveyMonkey for stakeholder feedback gathering and change readiness.
  • Skills in SharePoint administration, site governance, and content lifecycle management.

 

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams) for communication, reporting, analysis, and project management.
  • Experienced in using collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, Miro) and knowledge-sharing platforms to drive virtual delivery and co-creation.
  • Exposure to performance management systems and professional development frameworks to support team capability building.
  • Experience in managing onboarding programs, employee engagement, or broader employee experience initiatives.
  • Familiarity with enterprise learning platforms (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday Learning, Saba) and digital knowledge-sharing environments.
  • Working knowledge of survey and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qualtrics, MS Forms) to support data-driven decision-making.
