Job Summary: ArcGIS Engineer 

We are seeking an experienced ArcGIS Platform Support Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for the ArcGIS platform, including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS map and related GIS applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GIS technologies, spatial data management, and enterprise-level support. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. ArcGIS Platform Administration: 

• Install, configure, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise (Server, Portal, Data Store) 
• Manage and support ArcGIS Online, including user roles, permissions, and web maps 
• Troubleshoot issues related to ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, and other ESRI products 
• Perform software upgrades, patches, and performance tuning 

2. GIS Data Management & Integration: 

• Manage and optimize spatial databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle Spatial) 
• Ensure seamless integration of GIS data with business applications, APIs, and web services 
• Support and maintain geodatabases, feature services, and map services 

3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting: 

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for ArcGIS platform issues 
• Diagnose and resolve server performance, connectivity, and security issues 
• Work with Esri Technical Support and internal IT teams for issue resolution 

4. Security & Compliance: 

• Implement user authentication and role-based access control 
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and GIS best practices 

5. Documentation & Training: 

• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles 
• Provide training and guidance to end-users on ArcGIS tools and best practices 

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field 
• 3+ years of experience supporting ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Pro 
• Strong knowledge of GIS concepts, spatial analysis, and data management 
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle Spatial) 
• Understanding of ITIL framework and incident management processes 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Esri Certifications (e.g., Esri Enterprise Administration Associate, ArcGIS Developer) 
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other GIS-integrated visualization tools
