Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Senior Consultant to lead Teamcenter implementation, customization, migration, upgrade, integration, and support activities. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and project managers to deliver scalable PLM solutions that support engineering, manufacturing, and product development processes.

Key skills required

Functional Consulting

• Gather and analyze business requirements.
• Conduct requirement workshops with stakeholders.
• Prepare Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS).
• Design Teamcenter-based solutions aligned with business processes.
• Recommend PLM best practices and industry standards.
• Conduct gap analysis between current and future processes.

Solution Design

• Define Teamcenter data models and business objects.
• Design workflows, lifecycle states, and approval processes.
• Configure Item, BOM, Document, and Change Management processes.
• Develop solution architecture documents.
• Ensure scalability and maintainability of the solution.

Teamcenter Configuration & Customization

• Configure Teamcenter modules and preferences.
• Work with developers on BMIDE extensions.
• Configure Access Manager and security rules.
• Define naming and numbering rules.
• Configure workflows, forms, queries, and reports.

Data Migration

• Define migration strategy and approach.
• Perform source system analysis.
• Prepare mapping documents.
• Validate migrated data.
• Coordinate migration testing and reconciliation.

Integration Activities

• Define integration requirements.
• Coordinate integrations with:
• SAP / ERP systems
• MES systems
• CAD applications (NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks)
• Third-party applications
• Review API and integration designs.

Testing & Validation

• Prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Support SIT and UAT activities.
• Track defects and coordinate resolution.
• Validate business process compliance.

User Training & Change Management

• Conduct end-user training sessions.
• Prepare training materials and user manuals.
• Support organizational change management activities.
• Assist users during go-live and hypercare phases.

Production Support

• Analyze production issues.
• Provide root cause analysis.
• Coordinate fixes and enhancements.
• Support system performance optimization.
