Job Title: Accounts Executive - Business Process Solutions (Finance & Tax Operations)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll and bookkeeping for a portfolio of outsourced clients
- Handle online payment processing and banking transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare management accounts and statutory financial statements (IFRS)
- Ensure timely submission of statutory returns (EPF, VAT, SSCL, WHT, APIT)
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Support continuous improvement in finance and reporting processes
Key Requirements
- Part-qualified in a professional body (ICASL / CIMA / ACCA / CPA / CMA / Sri Lanka Institute of Taxation) or a degree holder in Finance/Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting and payroll
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reporting standards
- Exposure to payroll processing and APIT filings (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of tax compliance (direct & indirect) is a plus
- Familiarity with EPF and RAMIS portals is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, Sage, or similar systems
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines with confidence
