Job Overview
As an Analyst, you’ll support our team by applying core engineering principles and techniques to deliver practical, high-quality solutions. Your role will involve identifying and resolving technical issues, analysing situations, and developing effective, real-world solutions. You’ll gain experience working with international clients in the Asia Pacific Region in different Industries.
Responsibilities
- Apply engineering techniques to solve technical challenges and deliver practical solutions.
- Support project management by tracking progress, monitoring costs, and ensuring deliverables are met.
- Work with a high-performing team driving profitability and performance across Mining, Ports, Energy and Utilities.
- Leverage Deloitte’s expertise in problem solving, design thinking, digital and data analytics.
- Gain extensive training and development, with opportunities for international assignments and secondments.
Requirements
- Engineering Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Marine Engineering from a recognized university.
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
- Result-oriented and dynamic, with a positive attitude, “zero-defects” mindset, team spirit, energy, and excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Computer literate, proficient in MS Office.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, PFDs and P&IDs.
- Knowledge/experience in asset-intensive industries (E.g.: power generation, ship repair/maintenance), with a focus on Maintenance and Asset Management, is an advantage.
- Experience in repair and major overhauls of compressors, generators, pumps, etc. is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems (SAP or Ultimo preferred) is beneficial.
