Job Title: SRT : M&A Advisory - Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of financial due diligence and other transaction-related engagements for public and private sector clients
- Analyze financial statements, identify key trends, and assist in evaluating business performance
- Assist in identifying potential risks and preparing findings and recommendations under the guidance of senior team members
- Prepare financial analyses, reports, presentations, and other client deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail
- Conduct industry, market, and company research to support transaction engagements
- Collaborate with team members across engagements and contribute to project deliverables within agreed timelines
- Support proposal preparation, business development activities, and other initiatives within the Transactions team
- Maintain high-quality work standards while ensuring confidentiality and professionalism throughout engagements
- Support internal procedure in connection with client and engagement acceptance other practice management activities
Requirements
- 1 - 2 years of experience in Audit, M&A Advisory, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, or a related field within a reputed firm
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline. Candidates pursuing or holding professional qualifications such as CFA, CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, or ACCA will be an added advantage
- Basic understanding of financial statements and transaction services, including financial due diligence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Good report writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to delivering quality work
