Job Title: SRT : Property Valuer
We are looking for an experienced Property Valuer to join our team and to provide a range of valuation and advisory services. The role will involve conducting property valuations, analysing market data and preparing high-quality valuation reports for clients across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct valuations of land, buildings and other real estate assets for various purposes
- Carry out property inspections, market research, and comparable analysis
- Analyse property market trends, transactions and relevant market data
- Review and give commentary on property valuation reports to support statutory auditors of financial statements.
- Prepare accurate and detailed valuation reports in line with professional valuation standards
- Assist with feasibility studies and property-related advisory assignments
- Support senior team members on complex valuation and advisory engagements
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and supporting valuation evidence
Requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in Valuation, Real Estate, Estate Management & Valuation
- Membership of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Institute of Valuers of Sri Lanka (IVSL)
- Minium 3 - 5 years of relevant post qualification experience in property valuation & property advisory
- Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan property market, valuation methodologies and market practices
- Strong analytical, numerical, and report-writing skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- International valuation experience or exposure to international valuation standards and practices would be an added advantage
- Willingness to travel for property inspections and client assignments
