Job Title: Senior Executive - Tax
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with their direct and indirect tax compliance requirements and recommend solutions that support their overall business objectives
- Support clients to ensure they are consistent with good business practices and with the applicable tax laws and rules
- Preparation and/or review of tax computations and returns for clients
- Advising on client’s payments, lodging appeals or objections, and following up on these matters with the Inland Revenue Department
- Serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams, participating in due diligence and structuring engagements related to transactions that private equity and strategic corporate entities pursue
- Managing multiple relationships and ensuring client satisfaction
- Proactively identifying opportunities to grow the business
- Prepare reports, presentations, participate and contribute at client meetings
- Contribute to learning and education by participating in internal and external training and becoming a subject matter expert in tax laws and regulations
Requirements
- Part qualified in a professional body ICASL/CIMA/ACCA/CPA/ CMA or Attorney-at-law,or any Degree holder in Finance/Accounting
- Minimum 3 years post qualifying experience in Taxation
- Experience in handling tax due diligence assignments including cross border transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong grasp of business and technical issues, industry trends and practices
- Ability to handle multiple assignments independently
- Experience within a professional services firm will be an added advantage
