Job Title:  T&T : ET&P : Finance Transformation - Manager

 

Finance Transformation provides guidance to CFO's office and finance teams to design strategies, implement and deliver solutions for finance processes, operation and supporting technology to navigate through the complexities of finance function. The team focuses on providing insights to drive profitability and growth resulting in value creation.

Job Overview

The primary role of a Manager is to lead finance transformation engagements that help clients enhance performance, strengthen governance, improve operational efficiency, and achieve strategic objectives. The role involves managing client relationships, overseeing project delivery, developing transformation solutions, and guiding teams through complex business and technology changes. As a leader within the project team, the Manager will work closely with clients, senior stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure successful execution of transformation initiatives and high-quality client outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with senior client stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, finance function challenges, operating models, and transformation objectives
  • Lead finance transformation engagements including operating model redesign, finance process optimization, governance enhancement, organizational effectiveness assessments, and business transformation initiatives
  • Develop and review target operating models, governance frameworks, Delegation of Authority (DOA) structures, RACI matrices, KPIs, policies, SOPs, process maps, and other finance function documentation
  • Provide advisory services covering finance operations, people, processes, technology, governance, and organizational effectiveness
  • Lead ERP-enabled finance transformation initiatives by overseeing requirements gathering, solution design, implementation support, testing, change management, and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Oversee the preparation and review of client deliverables, reports, presentations, proposals, and recommendations to ensure quality and alignment with client expectations
  • Manage project execution, financial performance, resource utilization, budgets, work-in-progress (WIP), debtors, and delivery timelines in accordance with organizational standards
  • Lead business development initiatives including proposal development, RFP responses, client relationship management, and identification of new service opportunities
  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members while fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth across finance transformation engagements
  • Contribute to practice development initiatives, thought leadership, methodology enhancement, and the continuous improvement of finance transformation capabilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or equivalent professional qualification (CA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) with strong academic credentials. An MBA from a recognized institution will be an added advantage
  • 6 - 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience in consulting, finance transformation, finance operations, process improvement, ERP implementation, or related advisory roles
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end client engagements, managing project teams, and delivering complex transformation initiatives
  • Strong ability to challenge the status quo, solve complex business problems, and provide practical recommendations that drive sustainable outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with experience engaging senior management and executive-level stakeholders
  • Proven leadership and people management capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, and performance development of teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and Word
  • Knowledge and experience in digital finance technologies, ERP systems, data analytics, and finance transformation tools will be an added advantage
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Willing to travel as required by project needs
