Your work profile
In our Forensic & Financial Crime team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You’ll:
As an Assistant Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping customer experiences across our Fraud and Scam Management Platform.
• Undertake investigations originating from Transaction Monitoring alerts/Unusual Activity Reports when required or at the requests of Customer Divisions and stakeholders external to FCO. This is a requirement to ensure skillset is maintained and to assume other responsibilities under this role.
• Ability to draft and submit high quality SMRs to the Regulator when suspicious activity is identified.
• Ability to assist other teams with investigation enquiries.
• Ability to provide meaningful insights during the testing phase of new TM scenarios/ systems implemented.
• Proactively managing risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to process and procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified (risk accountability forms part of all roles, as everyone is responsible for managing risk and compliance).
• Drive continued uplift on first level and second level reviews including closures commentary and GFS writing standards.
• Assist with the understanding of changes to threat landscape and provide specific and actionable advice to the investigations team.
• Review the quality of decision making and assist leaders in identifying challenges and uplift opportunities within their teams.
• Assist leadership in the review and uplift of process documentation and investigative guidelines.
• Review and manage Complex/syndicate investigations.
• Engage with Senior Management and/or other internal/external stakeholders.
• Participate in continuous improvement strategies for service productivity & utilisation.
• Contribute to the ongoing maturity of frameworks, processes, policies, tools and practices supporting the Surveillance team.
• Support the uplift and redesign of Surveillance Learning programs and pilot sessions.
• Complete periodic reviews of IT and other process documentations to ensure currency and relevance of Surveillance procedures is maintained and uplifted in line with AML/CTF Program.
• Provide coaching and training to support the growth and development of colleagues’ skillset.
• Analyse business performance to create business insight presentations for leadership teams.
• Plan and coordinate business communications and events such as monthly newsletters, meetings and SITK.
Desired qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with data analytics and detection management.
- Strong data analytics and data mining experience and working with large datasets and different data lakes.
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, SAS, Python, PySpark, Scala, R
- Relevant tertiary education and certifications in data science, advance analytics and information systems
- Data visualisation skills (required for reporting enhancements on PowerBI/Excel)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Relevant AML/CTF, law enforcement or industry qualifications and accreditations such as ACAMS or ICA preferred
Location and way of working
· Base location: Delhi
· This profile involves travelling to/ operating out of the client location
Shift timing - 5AM to 2PM
