Your Work Profile
As an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Business Analyst, you will work closely with technology teams and tax professionals to conceptualize, design, and deliver tax technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between tax domain experts and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

Translate complex tax regulations (e.g., GST, Customs, TDS/TCS) into functional specifications for technology solutions.

Participate in solution design workshops and contribute to product ideation for tax automation tools.

Support development teams by clarifying requirements and validating outputs against business needs.

Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet compliance and operational standards.

Analyze client data to identify tax optimization opportunities and automation potential.

Prepare process flow diagrams, use cases, and business requirement documents (BRDs).

Stay updated with tax law changes and assess their impact on existing and upcoming solutions.

Collaborate with clients to understand their tax processes and propose technology-driven improvements.
Desired Qualifications

Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) – desired

Experience:
-
Assistant Manager: 2–4 years of experience in tax consulting or business analysis.

Deputy Manager: 4–6 years of experience with exposure to tax technology or ERP implementations.
Skills
-
Strong understanding of indirect tax laws and financial processes.

Experience in working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and tax engines is a plus.

Proficiency in preparing documentation and conducting stakeholder workshops.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Effective communication and presentation skills.
Location and Way of Working

Base Location: Mumbai /Delhi/Bangalore

Travel: Occasional travel to client locations as required.
