The Team
Deloitte Risk Advisory helps entities mitigate risk while discovering new opportunities to create value. Our end-to-end risk services span all domains, from managing strategic risks in the C-Suite to improving board oversight, and from balancing financial and environmental policies to addressing cyber threats.
Assistant Manager – Enterprise Risk
The position is responsible for deliver solution offerings
primarily related to Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Corporate Governance. The candidate must have an understanding about Enterprise Risk Management, COSO 2017 ERM, ISO31000 Frameworks and experience in process documentation, developing Risk Control Matrices, perform control testing and Report writing.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Leading ERM implementation, evaluation and sustenance engagements
· Development of ERM Policies, Frameworks, Board and Management level Committee Charters, Risk Assessment Scales, Risk Registers, Key Risk Indicators (KRI).
· Development of Internal Financial Control frameworks, process notes, standard operating procedures and manuals.
· Involved in risk evaluations, process design reviews, response documentation, KRI tracking for client business and
functional domains
· Understanding of business and industry issues / trends through external risk sensing.
· Identifying areas of improvement in the client's business and report writing
· Creating proposals and working on sales pitches
· Project planning and ensuring that products/deliverables meet project requirement and work plans
· Ensure compliance with engagement plans and internal quality and risk management procedures.
· Guiding team members on deliverables
Eligibility criteria and requirements:
· 3-5 years of experience in Risk Advisory
· Chartered Accountant/MBA (Strategy or Finance)
· Understanding of business processes, internal control concepts, business risk and control frameworks
· Exposure to process reviews, standard operating procedure and other risk management engagements would be
preferred
· Knowledge of process gaps identification, IFC, Companies Act, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Corporate Governance
Skills and Competency
· Exceptional communication, inter-personal and analytical skills and stakeholder management
· Execute work plans and manage projects effectively
· Works well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently
· Ability to lead teams and coach and guide team members
· Open to travel as necessary to meet client requirements.
· Build and maintain client relationship by understanding and being responsive to client needs and ensuring
high quality of deliverable
· Proficient in MS Office i.e., Excel/Word/ PowerPoint/Visio
