Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory & Relationship Management

• Act as a strategic advisor to clients on data protection, and information governance matters.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including Chief Privacy Officers, General Counsels, CISOs, CIOs, Risk Officers, and business leaders.
• Understand client business objectives and translate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.
• Present recommendations, findings, and executive briefings to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary engagement lead for key client accounts.

Privacy & Data Protection Consulting

• Lead data protection assessments across client environments.
• Design and implement protection operating models, governance structures, and compliance frameworks.
• Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), and privacy maturity assessments.
• Advise clients on compliance with GDPR, UK GDPR, DPDP Act (India), CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, and other global privacy laws.
• Support implementation of Data Protection technology initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

• Evaluate data security risks and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
• Support clients during regulatory inquiries, audits, investigations, and compliance reviews.
• Develop privacy policies, procedures, standards, and governance documentation.
• Advise on international data transfers, consent management, records of processing activities, and data subject rights management.

Data Governance & Emerging Technologies

• Partner with clients to strengthen data governance and information management practices.
• Advise on privacy implications of cloud transformation, digital initiatives, AI/ML solutions, analytics platforms, and emerging technologies.
• Support responsible AI governance and privacy compliance initiatives.
• Review third-party and vendor risk management frameworks.

Business Development & Practice Growth

• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and develop new business.
• Lead proposal development, solution design, and client presentations.
• Contribute to revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling privacy and security services.
• Develop thought leadership, market insights, and client-facing content.
• Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and client events.

Program & Engagement Leadership

• Lead complex multi-disciplinary engagements from planning through execution.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
• Mentor consultants, managers, and junior team members.
• Drive continuous improvement of methodologies, tools, and service offerings.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Business, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, risk, compliance, legal, cybersecurity, or consulting environments.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and leading consulting engagements.
• Strong understanding of global privacy laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience presenting to executive and board-level stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree, MBA, or relevant postgraduate qualification.
