Your Work Profile

 

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end project execution for major capital projects including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, utility, transportation, industrial, energy, water, or urban infrastructure developments.
  • Develop and implement project execution plans, schedules, resource plans, procurement strategies, and construction methodologies.
  • Establish project governance, reporting structures, and performance monitoring systems.
  • Ensure alignment between project objectives, scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Drive achievement of project milestones and critical deliverables.

Schedule & Cost Management

  • Develop and monitor integrated project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
  • Track project progress against approved baselines and identify schedule risks and recovery plans.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and expenditure controls.
  • Review and approve contractor progress reports, payment applications, and change orders.
  • Ensure effective cost control and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.

Contract & Commercial Management

  • Administer EPC, EPCM, Design-Build, PMC, and construction contracts.
  • Manage contract compliance, claims, variations, disputes, and commercial negotiations.
  • Coordinate procurement activities and oversee contractor and consultant performance.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled by all project participants.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project meetings, steering committee reviews, and executive updates.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve project-related issues effectively.

Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain project risk registers and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead contingency planning and issue resolution activities.
  • Monitor emerging risks related to safety, schedule, cost, regulatory approvals, and supply chains.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE regulations and company standards.
  • Monitor contractor safety performance and corrective actions.
  • Ensure environmental and sustainability requirements are integrated into project execution.
  • Lead incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions when required.

Quality Management

  • Ensure project execution complies with approved specifications, codes, standards, and quality requirements.
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs.
  • Review inspection and test plans, commissioning procedures, and handover documentation.
  • Ensure successful project commissioning and operational readiness.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams including engineering, construction, procurement, planning, commercial, and HSE personnel.
  • Establish performance objectives and accountability measures.
  • Mentor and develop project staff and future project leaders.
  • Foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across project teams.

 

Skills

  • Experience of 15+ yrs in managing construction in large infrastructure projects
  • Expertise in software like Primavera/MSP
  • Experience in project design, tending and estimation

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Infrastructure Management, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration (MBA), or Project Management preferred.
