Job Title: Associate Director | Fusion Financial - PPM | Delhi | Oracle
Role Overview
The Associate Director – Oracle Financials & PPM is a senior delivery and solution leadership role responsible for leading Oracle Fusion Financials and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) programs, managing complex finance and project accounting transformations, and partnering with Directors and onshore leadership to deliver high-quality outcomes for global clients. The role combines deep functional expertise in Financials and PPM with strong delivery governance, stakeholder management, and people leadership within a global delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Program Leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Oracle Fusion Financials and PPM programs across multiple workstreams and geographies
- Own delivery governance for Finance and PPM streams, ensuring quality, risk management, and adherence to delivery standards
- Act as the escalation point for critical delivery, integration, and data issues related to Financials and PPM
- Support release planning, cutover strategy, and post-go-live stabilization for complex programs
Oracle Financials & PPM Solution Leadership
- Provide solution leadership across Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) and PPM modules (Projects, Project Costing, Billing, Grants, Contracts)
- Guide solution architecture for project-centric finance transformations, including capitalization, revenue recognition, and cost accounting
- Lead Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud migrations involving Financials and PPM
- Drive adoption of Oracle leading practices, Deloitte accelerators, and cloud-native capabilities such as automation and advanced reporting
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with onshore engagement leaders, client finance sponsors, and project accounting stakeholders
- Participate in steering committees, executive reviews, and design authority forums
- Support pursuits, proposals, estimations, and solution shaping for Financials-PPM programs
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders (Finance Controllers, PMO Heads, Project Accounting Leads)
Global Delivery Network Leadership
- Build, scale, and manage offshore and hybrid delivery teams across Financials and PPM (30–50+ resources)
- Define resource strategy, capacity planning, utilization, and skill progression for Finance and PPM teams
- Foster collaboration across global delivery centers and cross-pillar teams (SCM, OIC, Reporting, APEX)
People, Talent & Capability Building
- Coach Managers, Senior Managers, and Solution Architects across Financials and PPM
- Drive certification and upskilling strategy for Oracle Financials and PPM
- Support performance management, career progression, and leadership pipeline development
- Contribute to practice growth, assets, and thought leadership in project-centric finance
Financial & Commercial Management
- Own delivery financials for Financials-PPM streams including margin, scope, and change control
- Ensure contractual compliance and value realization for clients
- Support revenue forecasting, effort tracking, and risk mitigation
- Drive productivity, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory
- 11–14 years of experience in Oracle Fusion / Oracle Cloud Applications
- Deep hands-on and leadership experience in Oracle Fusion Financials and PPM
- Proven experience leading large delivery teams in a global delivery model
- Strong experience in Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud Financials-PPM transformation programs
- Strong understanding of delivery governance, Agile / hybrid delivery models, and risk management
Preferred
- Prior experience in Big-4 or large global system integrators
- Experience working with project-centric industries such as Engineering, Construction, BFSI, Energy, or Public Sector
- Exposure to integrations (OIC), reporting (BI Publisher / OTBI), and extensions (APEX)
- Oracle certifications in Financials and/or PPM
