Job Title: Associate Director | Fusion Financials | Delhi | Oracle
Role Overview
The Associate Director – Oracle Fusion Financials is a senior delivery and solution leadership role responsible for managing complex Oracle Fusion Financials programs, leading multi-module delivery teams, and partnering with Directors and onshore leadership to deliver high-quality finance transformation outcomes. The role combines strong Oracle Fusion Financials expertise with delivery management, stakeholder engagement, and people leadership within a global delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Program Management
- Manage end-to-end delivery of Oracle Fusion Financials programs (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) within large transformation initiatives
- Ensure adherence to delivery governance, quality standards, risk controls, and project milestones
- Proactively identify delivery risks and issues, and drive resolution in collaboration with Directors and onshore leads
- Act as a key escalation point for module-level and workstream-level delivery challenges
Oracle Fusion Financials Expertise
- Provide solution leadership across Oracle Fusion Financials modules with strong functional depth
- Support solution architecture for complex Finance transformations, including Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud migrations
- Drive design decisions aligned with Oracle leading practices, Deloitte accelerators, and cloud-first principles
- Contribute to adoption of emerging capabilities such as automation, analytics, and AI-enabled reporting within Finance
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with onshore engagement managers, client finance leads, and Oracle stakeholders
- Participate in client design workshops, status reviews, and steering committee discussions
- Support pursuits, proposals, solution estimations, and knowledge transitions for new engagements
- Build trusted relationships with client counterparts at Manager / Controller / Finance Lead levels
Global Delivery & Team Leadership
- Lead and manage offshore and hybrid delivery teams across geographies (20–50+ resources)
- Plan resourcing, capacity, and utilization in alignment with program timelines
- Foster collaboration across functional streams and Deloitte global delivery centers
- Drive consistent delivery execution across multiple workstreams or releases
People, Talent & Capability Development
- Mentor Managers, Senior Consultants, and Solution Architects
- Support Oracle Fusion Financials certification plans and upskilling initiatives
- Contribute to performance management, coaching, and career development of team members
- Actively support retention, engagement, and future leadership pipeline development
Financial & Commercial Management
- Support delivery financials including effort tracking, margin protection, and scope management
- Assist with change requests, impact assessments, and client communication
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and internal financial controls
- Drive efficiency and productivity improvements across delivery teams
Required Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory
- 10–13 years of experience in Oracle Fusion / Oracle Cloud Applications
- Strong hands-on and delivery leadership experience in Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
- Experience managing large delivery teams (20–50+ resources) in a global delivery model
- Proven experience in Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud Finance transformation programs
- Strong understanding of delivery governance, Agile / hybrid delivery methodologies, and risk management
Preferred
- Experience in Big 4 or large global system integrators
- Exposure to adjacent Oracle Cloud pillars (SCM, EPM, HCM)
- Experience working with global clients across BFSI, Consumer, Manufacturing, or Technology sectors
- Oracle Fusion Financials certifications
