Role Overview
The Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for defining and governing the overall solution architecture across the Salesforce platform and ensuring that implementations align with business requirements, enterprise architecture standards, and Salesforce best practices.
This role provides technical leadership across large transformation programs, drives end-to-end solution design, and ensures scalable, secure, and high-quality implementations across Salesforce ecosystems. The role also contributes to pre-sales solutioning, RFP responses, and client advisory, helping shape winning CRM transformation strategies..
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Define end-to-end architecture across Salesforce clouds including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable architecture, technical design, and implementation roadmap.
- Develop solution blueprints covering application architecture, data architecture, and integration models.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce platform best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development, configuration, and integration teams.
- Review solution designs, customizations, and configurations to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Mentor technical teams and establish architecture governance and standards.
Integration & Data Architecture
- Define integration architecture and patterns between Salesforce and enterprise systems such as ERP, middleware, and third-party applications.
- Design data models, security architecture, and data governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
Delivery Oversight
- Support solution estimation, project planning, and technical risk management.
- Ensure successful implementation aligned with architectural standards and delivery commitments.
- Provide guidance during design, development, and deployment phases to ensure solution quality.
Pre-Sales & Solutioning
- Lead end-to-end solutioning for RFPs/RFIs and large transformation opportunities.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and define delivery approach, scope boundaries, and architecture strategy.
- Develop solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.
- Collaborate with SMEs, alliance partners, and delivery teams to build competitive solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with business leaders, product owners, and delivery teams to define and validate solution architecture.
- Conduct client workshops, architecture reviews, and executive presentations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on CRM strategy and Salesforce platform capabilities.
Desired qualifications
- 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in management or consulting oriented environment.
- Graduate degree (Science or Engineering) from premier institutes
