Senior Manager for SAP ABAP & Fiori will be responsible for leading end-to-end SAP technical delivery across S/4HANA and ECC landscapes, with a strong focus on ABAP development, SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, and digital transformation initiatives. The role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, delivery leadership, and stakeholder management to drive high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives.

This role is expected to lead large-scale SAP programs, oversee technical design and governance, and mentor multi-location teams while ensuring adherence to Deloitte quality, SLA, and delivery standards.

Key Skills Required

• Lead SAP ABAP and Fiori/UI5 development across implementation, rollout, and AMS engagements.
• Architect and deliver scalable solutions leveraging ABAP, CDS, OData, RAP, and SAP Gateway.
• Oversee development of custom Fiori applications and enhancements to standard SAP apps. 
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, coding standards, and SDLC governance. 
• Translate business requirements into technical design covering RICEFW objects and Fiori applications.
• Drive design of integration solutions using OData, RFC, BAPI, IDoc, and APIs. 
• Define architecture for UI5, Launchpad, and cross-system integrations.
• Own delivery for SAP technical streams across projects (onshore/offshore).
• Ensure SLA adherence, delivery timelines, and quality assurance.
• Perform impact analysis, estimation, and risk mitigation for technical deliverables.
• Participate in release management, CAB governance, and production deployments. 
• Engage with business and functional stakeholders to align on technical strategy.
• Provide status reporting, governance updates, and executive communication.
• Support presales, proposals, and solution shaping where required.
• Lead and mentor ABAP and Fiori technical teams across geographies.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce quality standards, and drive continuous improvement.
• Build capability in advanced SAP technologies (RAP, BTP, Fiori Elements).
• Oversee L2/L3 support for SAP applications including incident, problem, and change management. 
• Ensure RCA, performance optimization, and stability improvements.
• Drive automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
• 12–15+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on ABAP and S/4HANA.
• Proven experience in leading SAP technical delivery (implementation + AMS).
• Experience managing large distributed teams and multi-stream programs.
• SAP ABAP (OOABAP, CDS, AMDP, RAP)
• SAP Fiori/UI5, Fiori Launchpad, Fiori Elements
• SAP Gateway, OData services (V2/V4)
• RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)

• Integration technologies (RFC, BAPI, IDoc, APIs)
• Performance tuning, debugging, and optimization
• Exposure to SAP BTP, CAP, and cloud-native extensions (preferred)
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills
• Ability to drive delivery in SLA-driven environments
• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT or equivalent
• SAP certifications in ABAP, Fiori, or S/4HANA (preferred)
