Job Title: TnT-EAD - Operations -ERI-Associate Director (Programme Management in Renewable Energy)

Summary

As an Associate Director serving the " Energy, Resource and Industrial Solutions " industry, you would be working on projects with Governments, Utilities, International Financing / Development Institutions, NGOs and private entities, advising on renewable energy, energy transition and related aspects. You would be expected to lead large programme management and monitoring, covering both sectoral and IT related aspects. A preferred candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering, MBA/M.Tech degree, with more than 12 years of post-qualification experience, and prior relevant experience in management consulting or operations in energy/public sector/IT. The candidate is expected to have fluent communications skills in English and Hindi, and excellent interpersonal skills.  

Location: Base office location will be Gurgaon, while the candidate will work based out of Delhi

The Team

As a member of the Energy, Resource and Industrial Solutions team, you will embark on an exciting and fulfilling journey with a group of intelligent and innovative globally aware individuals. The team provides a range of advisory and assurance services to clients in the private and public sector on a broad range of aspects relating to renewable energy, climate change, and sustainability. The focus of the team is on strategic analyses of key concerns in renewable energy and sustainability – including strategy development, implementation, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, governance systems, sustainable finance, stakeholder engagement, reporting and assurance.

Work you’ll do

You will be working on solving full spectrum of power, utilities and energy sector challenges across a wide range of clients. You will not just be working on ideas and recommendations to solve the client’s challenges, in most cases you would also be walking with the client in implementing those recommendations and in advising them during the same. Continuous learning at a team level and at an individual level will be your responsibility and ensuring that you have lots of fun while doing all this is our responsibility.

Your Prime Responsibilities

You would be working on projects with Governments, Utilities, International Financing / Development Institutions, NGOs and private entities, advising on energy transition and related aspects. You would be expected to lead large programme management and monitoring, covering both sectoral and IT related aspects.

A few role-based responsibilities for the position are described below:

• Managing large programme implementation, and tracking KPIs
• Working directly with client stakeholders to lead key programme/scheme related documents such as concept notes, presentations, performance assessment reports etc.
• Working very closely with a multitude of stakeholders across India on a timely basis.
• Monitoring the program across multiple states.
• Provide guidance on the development of insights using data analytics software.
• Support in remedial action plan on gaps during program implementation.
• Working both collaboratively and individually as a part of project teams to address complex market, strategic, operational, and organizational issues
• Understand client requirements, project scope and deliverable requirements
• Undertake research, stakeholder engagement analysis and packaging of client deliverables.
• Formulate robust, and grounded analysis and plans to support strategic initiatives for the clients and advise them on adoption of programs and processes for the same.
• Participate and lead in client meetings for presenting the findings and recommendations to the client
• Assist proposal team in conducting sector research, research to support client context, conducting analysis on client situation, preparing proposal document, etc.
• Support propositions, engagements, and large strategic pursuits across Deloitte’s service areas.

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• MBA/M.Tech (Under a full-time two-year campus based program)
• More than 12 years of post-qualification relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience in renewable energy/public sector/IT
• Demonstrated experience in large programme management
• Prior experience in management consulting or operations in renewable energy/public sector preferred.
• Fluent communications skills in English and Hindi
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
