Your Work Profile
As a member of our Cyber Defence and Resilience team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with internal teams and external clients, always aiming to exceed client expectations. We are seeking a motivated and experienced consultant to join our growing Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) practice in India.
In this role you will work on diverse client engagements, helping organisations design, implement, maintain and test robust Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) and IT Disaster Recovery strategies. Your responsibilities will now also include leveraging Microsoft Azure’s native DR capabilities—such as Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure SQL Geo‑Replication, and Azure Storage RA‑G (geo‑redundant) options—to create cloud‑first, IaC‑driven DR solutions that align with international standards like ISO 22301
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience: Professional Experience: 4‑6 years of hands‑on experience in IT Disaster Recovery (DR). Prior work in a consulting environment is strongly preferred.
- Core Cloud Competency (Mandatory): Deep, practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure’s DR services—including Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure SQL Geo‑Replication, Geo‑redundant storage, and Azure Policy/Blueprints. Ability to design, script (ARM/Terraform) and automate Azure‑based DR solutions.
- Additional Cloud Platforms (Good‑to‑Have): Working familiarity with AWS (e.g., AWS DR Shield, CloudFormation, Route 53 fail‑over) and/or Google Cloud Platform (e.g., Cloud SQL replication, GCP Backup and DR) is advantageous.
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code & Automation: Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, Azure Resource Manager templates.
- Testing & Validation: Experience planning, executing and reporting on technical DR drills, fail‑over simulations, and tabletop exercises across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Communication & Client Management: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of delivering clear DR documentation, run‑books and client‑facing presentations.
- Certification: AZ-305, AZ-104, AZ-900 – Must & AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner – Good to have
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. (BTech, MTech, MCA, MSC IT)
