We work in conjuncture with various institutions solving key business problems across a broad-spectrum roles and functions, all set against the backdrop of constant industry change.

Your work profile

Summary

While serving the Energy and Sustainability industry, you would be working on projects with Governments, Utilities, International Financing / Development Institutions, NGOs and private entities, advising on energy transition and related aspects. You would be expected to work on high quality research reports, analysis and studies relating to energy, sustainability, ESG, socio-economics, energy transition and net zero etc. The candidate is expected to have fluent communications skills in English and Hindi, and honest interpersonal skills. 

 Location: Location will be NCR/ Lucknow/ Bhopal, with travel or relocation requirements as per need.

Work you’ll do

You will be working on solving full spectrum of energy, socio-economics and sustainability sector challenges across a wide range of clients. You will not just be working on ideas and recommendations to solve the client’s challenges, in most cases you would also be walking with the client in implementing those recommendations and in advising them during the same. Continuous learning at a team level and at an individual level will be your responsibility and ensuring that you have lots of fun while doing all this is our responsibility.

​​​​​​​ Your Prime Responsibilities

You would be working on projects with Governments, Utilities, International Financing / Development Institutions, NGOs and private entities, advising on energy, sustainability, energy transition, net zero and related aspects having implications on larger socio-economics of nations globally. You would be expected to work on high quality research reports, analysis and studies relating to above areas.

·       Serve government/ public or private sector clients in consulting projects. Participate in problem-solving efforts and offer areas improvement to drive client/project success.

·       Developing logically sound and evidence-based market research/ recommendations.

·       Work with clients such as power utilities, government agencies/ regulatory bodies, multilateral funding agencies, think-tanks, financing agencies in India and South East Asia.

·       Assist clients in areas such as techno-commercial assessment, project management, market assessments/ growth strategy, policy advocacy, regulatory compliances, performance improvement, due-diligence and transaction advisory.

·       Build relationships and communicate effectively in order to positively influence peers and other stakeholders.

·       Gather information via primary client interviews and workshops, as well as secondary research, test hypothesis and provide analysis of the data to derive key findings for the client.

·       Perform data validation and analysis. Develop models and draw key insights from the results and develop client recommendations.

·       Formulate robust, and grounded analysis and plans to support strategic initiatives for the clients and advise them on adoption of programs and processes for the same.

·       Aggregate findings and recommendations into reports, presentations, and/or dashboards, and contribute to formulating and distilling deep insightful takeaways for the clients 

Qualification:

·       Graduate in any discipline with good grades. MBA or Masters degree equivalent would be preferable qualification.

·       Prior experience in consulting/ research/ thought leadership/ freelancing in energy, infrastructure, sustainability or socio-economics would be added advantage

Essential Skills:

·       Basic problem solving skills

·       Excellent communication skills including proficiency in English language

·       Tools proficiency in Excel, Word and Power point

·       Understanding of new tools and platforms useful for analytical works

·       Ability to manage tasks independently with senior officials in government and corporates
