Your work profile

·      Play a key role in collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs and problems, and in cross-referencing business and functional requirements ensuring expectations are clearly understood and satisfied.

·      Work in partnership with the wider product team to create, prioritise and refine features and user stories from the product backlog for the scrum team, utilizing applicable artefacts and by ensuring there are enough “ready” stories to load the next 1-2 sprints.

·      Partner with business stakeholders and the scrum team to ensure user stories are delivered in line with business requirements.

·      Participate in and support capacity planning as well as the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with business stakeholders and technology management.

·      Collaborate with technology team members, end users, and other stakeholders in the testing of new software programs and applications, including the coordination of UAT.

·      Review, analyse, and report on the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and features as well as develop testing strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.

·      Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, and end users.

·      Work diligently to ensure optimum value is obtained by enhancing or improving business processes via integration, or as necessary, minimize the impact of integration on those processes.

·      Ability to perform data analysis using SQL and excel

·      Ability to work with technology teams to deliver functionality is a must

Key skills required

• 11+ years of experience in Business analysis /Product management
• Strong experience managing client-facing business requirement gathering within consulting or IT services environments.
• Exposure to global products/clients and distributed stakeholder ecosystems preferred.
• Experience working with Japanese clients or Japan-focused engagements will be an advantage.
• Japanese language proficiency is must have.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational capabilities.
• Experience with governance tools including Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in dynamic delivery environments.
