Job Title: Senior Consultant - Spartacus / SAP Composable Storefront
Position Type: [Full-time]
About the Role:
As a Senior Consultant for Spartacus / SAP Composable Storefront, you will play a pivotal role in leading complex projects and guiding clients in adopting composable storefront solutions using Spartacus and SAP Commerce Cloud. You will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, strategic advice, and mentoring junior consultants while collaborating closely with internal and client teams.
Required Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Spartacus, SAP Commerce Cloud, and Headless Commerce.
- Experience managing template and component customization within Spartacus to ensure that storefronts meet client-specific requirements, including modifying default templates, updating layouts, and customizing Angular components.
- Customize UI components in Spartacus using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS, ensuring a responsive and performant storefront.
- Work on HAC (Admin Console) frontend enhancements using JSP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proven experience with REST APIs and integrating external systems into SAP Commerce and Spartacus.
- Expertise in designing and deploying scalable and performant storefront solutions in complex enterprise environments.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud components, including data modelling, product catalogues, and customer management.
- Experience with CI/CD processes, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior staff and clients.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in architecting Headless Commerce and Composable Commerce solutions.
- Experience with PWA development for SAP Composable storefronts.
- Ability to navigate complex client environments, influencing decisions and shaping strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Spartacus and SAP Composable Storefront implementations, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
- Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand their business challenges and define technical solutions for composable storefronts.
- Architect and design scalable, high-performance frontend systems using Spartacus and SAP Commerce Cloud.
- Provide hands-on guidance in the customization and optimization of Spartacus storefronts for client-specific requirements.
- Manage complex integrations between SAP Commerce Cloud, Spartacus, third-party applications, and external systems.
- Mentor and train junior consultants on best practices in frontend development, SAP Commerce, and Spartacus.
- Lead or participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to quality standards, security, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and technical leads to drive the overall solution strategy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during and post-implementation.
- Share expertise in front-end development practices, SAP Commerce, and composable architectures with the broader organization and client teams.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Any relevant certifications in front-end development or related technologies (e.g., Angular, JavaScript) are a Plus.
