• As a Senior Consultant in our Finance transformation Team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.
• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant with strong expertise in SQL-based data engineering, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure DevOps (ADO), and working knowledge of Anaplan.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable data pipelines, managing deployments, integrating enterprise systems, and supporting planning solutions. Exposure to Python for data processing and automation will be an added advantage. This role requires direct client interaction and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions across finance, supply chain, and operations functions.

• Key skills required: 
• Data Engineering & Integration:
• Design and develop robust SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Integrate multiple data sources (ERP, CRM, Planning tools) into centralized data platforms.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and validation across systems.
• Utilize Python (where applicable) for data transformation, automation, and validation tasks.
• DevOps & Deployment:
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Support version control, code migration, and release management processes.
• Maintain deployment standards across development, SIT, UAT, and production environments.
• Anaplan Support & Planning Integration (Plus):
• Support data integration between enterprise systems and Anaplan models.
• Assist in building and maintaining Anaplan Data Hubs and planning models.
• Collaborate with functional teams to optimize planning workflows.
• Understand Connected Planning concepts and their integration with enterprise data platforms.
• Client Interaction & Requirement Gathering:
• Engage directly with clients to gather technical and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical architecture and solutions.
• Conduct solution walkthroughs, UAT support, and deployment discussions.
• Provide ongoing support and advisory to stakeholders.
• Governance & Quality Assurance:
• Implement best practices for data governance, documentation, and auditability.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and performance optimization.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Collaboration & Leadership:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, supply chain, IT, and planning teams.
• Mentor junior team members on SQL, ADF, and deployment practices.
• Contribute to solution design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong expertise in SQL (complex joins, performance tuning, stored procedures, indexing).
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for pipeline creation and orchestration.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for CI/CD, repositories, and release management.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs and data connectors.
• Anaplan (Plus):
• Experience supporting Anaplan data integration.
• Familiarity with Anaplan Data Hub architecture.
• Understanding of planning use cases (financial planning, workforce planning, supply chain planning).
• Python :
• Experience using Python for data processing, automation, validation, or integration tasks.
• Familiarity with libraries such as Pandas or NumPy for data manipulation.
• Ability to build lightweight automation scripts to support data workflows.
• Business Acumen:
• Experience working with finance, supply chain, or operational datasets.
• Ability to understand planning processes and convert them into technical workflows.
• Soft Skills:

• Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365).
• Number of Years of Relevant Experience:
• Any Graduation with 3 to 5 years in Anaplan Data Engineer
