Work you’ll do

  • As a practitioner, within the Workforce Transformation (WT), following activities within the firm need to be performed:
  • Use instructional design principles to design course structure and flow, define course objectives, develop appropriate assessments, and strategize on effective treatments for imparting training (eLearning/ILT/blended)
  • Ideate appropriate instructional strategies to meet learning goals
  • Visualize instructional graphics/animations, the user interface and write detailed instructions for the production team
  • Develop exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, and so on) while working with dedicated teams (either internal or outsourced)
  • Perform quality review of training deliverables
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to ensure the content is accurate and fits client requirements
  • Communicate course design ideas to the stakeholders/client effectively (as required)
  • Listen to feedback and alter course content/animations etc to better suit client needs while adhering to project standards/design guidelines
  • Participate and/or lead client calls / meetings with clear agenda / queries to help address and manage client requirements
  • Coach and manage junior resources in developing quality training materials
  • Team and project management including tracking/reporting, raising risks, and maintaining
  • project documentation and course folders

 

 

Qualifications:

  • 2-6 years of experience in Instructional Design
  • Comfortable in exploring a contractual role for 6months, extendable based on the performance and firm discretion.
  • Experience in the use of authoring, simulation capture and animation development tools (Storyline, Captivate, Vyond etc.)
  • BA or MA in English or B.Ed., Educational Technology, or a similar field
  • Certification in Instructional Design will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge and experience of developing 3D/AR/VR technology-based learning would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of instructional design models, adult learning theories, and effective pedagogical strategies in online instruction, including collaborative learning, Bloom’s Taxonomy etc.
  • Ability to identify and develop measurable learning outcomes.
  • Storyboarding and visualization skills and comfort turning source material into interactive, visually appealing, and engaging multimedia learning products (including developing video/game-based learning content)
  • Working knowledge of quality review process for course content and design
  • Excellent knowledge of course development cycle
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks of varying complexity and urgency in a timely and efficient manner, and tracking/reporting on courses in progress
  • Manage and prioritize workload to meet aggressive deadlines for self and team
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of content authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Vyond etc.)
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication abilities (English language) including skills in explaining technical topics to novices and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts and other stakeholders
  • Strong “people skills” and effective presentation, communication, and organization skills

 

 

 

Location and way of working

  • Base location: Delhi
  • This profile involves frequent / occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
