Your work profile 

As a Team Lead in our Assurance team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: - 

 

  • Oversee the financial accounting, distribution, and tax reporting for the fund’s platform, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and investment management agreements. 

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. 

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including annual financial statements, regulatory reports, and tax filings. Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making. 

  • Build strong relationships with Fund Managers, Investment Managers, Valuations team, Tax team, and other key stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the Funds Finance team. 

  • Oversee audit processes and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. 

  • Contribute to the development and execution of finance projects and initiatives to support the overall strategic objectives of the business. 

  • Collaborate effectively with the offshore team to achieve seamless operations. 

 

Key skills required:  

  • MBA,CA CFA along with relevant tertiary qualification. 

  • Extensive work experience of 5-8 years in fund accounting or financial services with a strong understanding of investment management operations.  

  • Ability to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the business goals.  

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Should possess in-depth knowledge of financial reporting, tax regulations, and investment management accounting principles. 

  • Ability to analyse complex financial information, identify issues, and make sound decisions. They should be open and honest in communication with clients and colleagues. They should be a team player with a proactive and results oriented approach. 

  • They must have ability to prioritize, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity.
