Job Title:  Consultant | (BI Reports, OTBI, FRS, SmartView) | Delhi | Oracle

We are seeking an experienced Oracle BI Publisher Consultant to design, develop, and support reporting solutions for our Oracle Cloud / E-Business Suite environment. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to gather requirements, create reports, optimize performance, and ensure seamless integration with Oracle ERP applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report Development:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy BI Publisher reports and templates (RTF, Excel, eText, PDF).
• Build data models using SQL queries, data sets, and bursting logic for complex reporting needs.
• Create dynamic, parameter-driven reports and dashboards.
• Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
• Collaborate with business users and functional consultants to capture reporting requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical design documents.
• Integration & Configuration:
• Configure BI Publisher data sources, templates, layouts, and schedules.
• Integrate BI Publisher reports with Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), or other Oracle applications.
• Performance & Optimization:
• Tune SQL queries and data models for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot issues with report performance, data accuracy, and formatting.
• Support & Maintenance:
• Provide production support for deployed reports and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain version control and documentation for BI Publisher objects.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with ERP technical and functional teams, middleware (OIC) teams, and database administrators.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge transfer sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) in Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle EBS.
• Excellent SQL and PL/SQL skills for building data models and queries.
• Proficiency in creating RTF templates using Microsoft Word with BI Publisher plug-in.
• Knowledge of XML data structures, XSL, and bursting control files.
• Functional Knowledge (Preferred):
• Understanding of Oracle ERP modules such as Financials (AP, AR, GL), Procurement, Projects, or HCM.
• Experience with OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) is a plus.
• Tools & Platforms:
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion), Oracle EBS (R12), or similar ERP platforms.
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or Web Services (SOAP/REST) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience working with Oracle BI Publisher.
• Prior experience in Oracle ERP implementation or support projects preferred.
