Educational QualificationAdvanced degree (Master’s or higher) in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. Professional ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of overall experience in data management, analytics, or related domains. At least 2 years of experience working with administrative data (preferably in India), structured databases, and standardized data models. Proven experience working with Government of India datasets, including a clear understanding of indicators, definitions, and data structures. Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights. Deep understanding of data quality frameworks, data standardization, and governance practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into business-relevant narratives. Experience in managing teams and driving data strategy execution. Roles & ResponsibilitiesWork closely with internal and external stakeholders (including government bodies) to ensure alignment on data definitions, indicators, and reporting requirements. Analyze datasets to generate meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making. Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and bottlenecks, and implement corrective measures. Facilitate integration of multiple data sources into unified, structured, and reliable datasets. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards. Drive continuous improvement in data processes, tools, and methodologies.
