We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms for a large‑scale government IT project. The role focuses on integrating data from multiple sources to support analytics, dashboards, and decision‑making for public programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust data pipelines (batch and near‑real‑time) for large and diverse datasets
• Integrate data from multiple systems using APIs, databases, and files
• Ensure data quality, security, and reliability in line with government data guidelines
• Support analytics, reporting, and dashboarding requirements
• Work closely with domain experts, consultants, and system integrators
• Maintain documentation and support audits/reviews typical of government projects

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Strong experience with SQL, Python/Java, and ETL frameworks
• Hands‑on experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) or government data platforms preferred
• Experience with API‑based data integration and data warehousing
• Understanding of data security, access controls, and governance

Preferred:

• Experience working on government or large public‑sector IT projects
• Familiarity with open data standards, dashboards, or MIS systems
