Job Title:  Consultant | EDUT | Delhi | Operations, Industry & Domain Solutions

We are seeking a skilled GIS Developer to design, develop, and implement geospatial applications and solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GIS software, programming, and spatial data analysis to support various business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain GIS applications using tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, Mapbox, and Google Maps API.
• Integrate GIS data with web applications, mobile applications, and enterprise systems.
• Perform spatial data analysis, geoprocessing, and visualization using Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages.
• Manage geospatial databases (PostGIS, SQL Server, or NoSQL) and optimize spatial queries.
• Work with remote sensing and satellite imagery for spatial analysis and mapping.
• Develop RESTful APIs and Web GIS services for data integration and sharing.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within GIS solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest GIS trends, technologies, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Geospatial Science, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field.
• Strong experience with GIS software (Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, Mapbox, OpenLayers, Leaflet).
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, JavaScript, .NET, C#, or Java) for GIS applications.
• Knowledge of spatial databases (PostGIS, SQL Server, MongoDB).
• Experience with web mapping technologies (ArcGIS API, Leaflet, OpenLayers, GeoServer).
• Familiarity with cloud-based GIS platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Earth Engine).
• Understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and geospatial analytics.
• Experience with remote sensing, LiDAR, GPS, and drone data processing is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with machine learning in GIS and automation tools.
• Knowledge of 3D GIS, BIM, or CAD integration.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
