Job Title:  Consultant | EDUT | Delhi | Operations, Industry & Domain Solutions

As a Consultant in the Economic Development and Urban Transformation (EDUT) practice at Deloitte, the practitioner will play an important role in shaping the future of cities through strategic urban development and transformation projects, advising public sector clients such as Urban Development Departments at Central and State level, Municipal Corporations, Urban Development Authorities, and co-creating sustainable, inclusive and digitally enabled urban eco-systems. The practitioner will work at the intersection of policy, strategy, technology, and infrastructure delivering high-impact advisory services across India and emerging global markets.

He/She will support delivery of urban transformation assignments including city-level strategies/ plans, provide advisory on spatial planning, land-use optimisation, urban design and infrastructure integration. He/She will collaborate on sustainable development strategies covering green infrastructure, climate resilience, affordable housing, and low carbon urban transition. He/She will assist governments and urban development authorities in policy formulation, program design, PPP structuring and regulatory frameworks.

He/She will work with Deloitte digital teams to conceptualize and deliver smart city dashboards, urban observatories, and command-control systems. He/She will mentor and guide junior consultants, analysts across workstreams. He/She will contrbute to proposal development, RFP responses, and pitches for urban and regional planning projects.

Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of urban development policies, institutional frameworks, and planning regulations. Exposure to smart cities, urban tech, and e-governance solutions is desirable. Excellent project management, stakeholder communication and team coordination. Ability to operate in fast paced, ambiguous and client-facing environments.
