Job Title: Consultant | Fusion Financials | Delhi | Oracle
Role Overview
The Consultant – Oracle Fusion Financials is an entry-to-mid level delivery role responsible for supporting the implementation and support of Oracle Fusion Financials solutions. The role focuses on hands-on configuration, testing, documentation, and client support activities under the guidance of Senior Consultants and Managers, contributing to successful Finance transformation engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Fusion Financials Implementation Support
- Support configuration of Oracle Fusion Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM
- Assist in requirements gathering, solution design, and documentation activities
- Prepare and maintain configuration workbooks, functional specifications, and test cases
- Execute unit testing and support SIT and UAT cycles
- Support cutover, data validation, and post-go-live stabilization activities
Functional Analysis & Process Understanding
- Learn and understand client Finance processes and Oracle Fusion Financials functionality
- Assist in mapping business requirements to Oracle Cloud Finance capabilities
- Support Oracle EBS or legacy ERP data migration and reconciliation activities
- Work with technical teams on basic reports, integrations, and extensions
Client Interaction & Collaboration
- Participate in client workshops, walkthroughs, and training sessions
- Respond to client queries and support issue resolution under supervision
- Assist in preparing status updates and delivery artifacts
- Build effective working relationships with client users and internal team members
Team Collaboration & Delivery Support
- Work closely with Senior Consultants and Managers on assigned tasks
- Follow delivery standards, templates, and best practices
- Support knowledge transfer and documentation activities
- Contribute to team productivity and timely delivery of assigned work
Learning, Certification & Professional Development
- Actively pursue Oracle Fusion Financials training and certifications
- Stay current with Oracle Cloud releases and new features
- Develop functional, communication, and consulting skills
- Participate in internal initiatives and capability-building programs
Required Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory
- 3–5 years of experience in Oracle Fusion / Oracle Cloud Applications or ERP implementations
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Oracle Fusion Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
- Understanding of core Finance and accounting concepts
- Willingness to work in a global delivery and offshore model
Preferred
- Experience in Big-4 or large system integrators
- Exposure to Oracle EBS or other ERP systems
- Experience in testing, data migration, or reporting activities
- Oracle Fusion Financials certification or ongoing certification pursuit
